At Bessborough Farm we grow ten varieties of apples, three varieties of pears and twelve varieties of plums which give continuity of supply from early August to October. We have a small coldstore which extends our hard fruit season to Christmas. All varieties are offered concurrently so at the height of the season we have up to about eight lines running at once, some lines being offered in more than one size.

Historically we supplied greengrocers direct from the farm. At one time we had seven customers in Whitstable alone which were supplied six days a week in the summer. We now supply farmshops and are increasingly concentrating on direct sales.We have attended with great success, nine of the "Produced in Kent" Farmers Markets and expect to attend eight on a regular basis. We aim to offer the best quality possible at a sensible price.
